FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What is copyright and what does it protect?
Copyright protects original works of authorship like books, music, artwork, digital content, websites, videos, graphics, and even some social media content. It gives you the legal right to control how your work is used, shared, or copied.
Do I need to register my copyright for it to be protected?
Technically, your work is protected by copyright the moment it’s created and fixed in a tangible form like written down, recorded, or posted. But registering it with the U.S. Copyright Office gives you stronger legal rights like the ability to sue for damages if someone copies you.
What types of work can I copyright?
You can copyright written content, blog posts, eBooks, music, choreography, digital designs, photography, film, software code, course content, and more. Basically, if it’s creative and original, it’s likely copyrightable.
Can I copyright my business name or logo?
Nope. Names, titles, slogans, and logos are typically protected by trademark, not copyright. Copyright covers creative works, not identifiers of your brand.
What is your return policy?
We do not offer refunds, but we do provide store credit within the first 7 days of receipt, provided the order is in sale condition and meets our return requirements.
What happens if someone copies my work and I didn’t register it?
You still technically have rights, but without registration, it’s harder to take legal action. That’s why I recommend registering if your content is valuable, original, and part of your business.
Do I need a lawyer to file a copyright?
No. You can file it yourself, especially if you understand the process. But if you’re unsure or just want help getting it done right, that’s what my copyright filing service is here for.
I offer digital products. Should I copyright them?
Yes, especially if your digital products include original written content, worksheets, workbooks, or course material. Copyright gives you a paper trail and protection if someone tries to resell, copy, or steal your work.
